STORY

VIT was founded in 1999 as a scientific laboratory for studying the possibilities of compaction of optical fibers by information flow. Since 2007, it has been providing communication services for operators and corporate clients.

MAINTENANCE AND MONITORING

Support and emergency service is available 24/7.

Depending on the class of subscriber service, strict deadlines for repairing damage and organizing a reserve are regulated.

For real-time applications, non-multiplexed passive L1 channels and the required level of redundancy are provided. For network monitoring, proprietary software products and the open source monitoring and inventory system zabbix are used.

FIBER OPTIC NETWORKS

The data transmission network based on its own optical lines is built on a ring topology with channel redundancy

(including client ones) and has points of presence both in the main data centers of Moscow and in a large number of business centers.

The network is designed for inter-operator interaction, backbone intra-network connections, service transport and the organization of independent partner channels.

SCIENTIFIC DEVELOPMENTS, TECHNOLOGIES

AND IMPLEMENTATION

VIT specialists have developed, patented and implemented a number of their own technologies for wavelength division multiplexing on fiber. The use of unique proprietary scientific developments (CWDM2, DDM) has made it possible to achieve incredible data transfer rates (320GB per 1 OB) with a more than 2-fold increase in reliability and a 3-fold reduction in costs.

Additionally, the widespread use of passive components has provided extremely broad opportunities for organizing independent L1/2 channels without loss of bandwidth. The advantages of VIT technologies lie in the elimination of limitations that inevitably arise when using even the most modern active equipment for channel formation.
